URGENT: HOLDER CONTEMPT VOTE TODAY
Grassfire Nation Update
Yesterday, Attorney General Eric Holder all-but dared the House Oversight Committee to find him in contempt by coming empty handed to a special closed-doors meeting with Rep. Darrell Issa.
Most were expecting Holder to bring enough documents to force Issa to delay the vote -- but by bringing NOTHING OF SUBSTANCE to the meeting, Holder showed his contempt even for the process that is leading to the formal Contempt vote.
+ + CONTEMPT VOTE TODAY: ACTION ITEMS
That means the scheduled Contempt Of Congress vote in the House Oversight Committee is proceeding as scheduled.
Yesterday we delivered more than 118,000 petitions to the Committee and other key members of Congress. Today, we are encouraging all team members to let their voice be heard in two important ways:
#1 -- FAX CONGRESS TODAY

IF POSSIBLE.... choose the fax option that reaches the ENTIRE HOUSE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE -- all 38 members.
#2 -- CALL CONGRESS
Also, be sure to call the Oversight Committee, your Representative and two Senators and let them know where you stand on Holder's actions and his future.
Oversight Committee: 202-225-5074
Representative: Noem 202-225-2801
Senator: Johnson 202-224-5842
Senator: Thune 202-224-2321
Thanks for taking action.
