"Swarm" of Over 100 Quakes Hit Baja California, Mexico

It began on February 9th with a 5.4 magnitude quake followed by over a hundred smaller quakes measuring 5.0 to 1.3 magnitude. There is no sign of letting up. We will keep you posted as events arise.

As interesting as this may be, I would suggest it does not meet the measure of what I am expecting as part of the "science of cycles" related to 14 days prior to, and 14 days after a Full Lunar Eclipse.

As of now, 4 volcanoes have become active and escalating. We are watching Tungurahua, Cleveland, Llaima, and Cerro Prieto. We are also watching Florida and Mississippi for current tornado activity.

Earthquake swarms are sequences of nearby earthquakes striking in a short period of time. They are differentiated from earthquakes succeed by a series of aftershocks by the observation that no single earthquake in the sequence is obviously the mainshock.
